Description
Founder and lead developer of a mobile-first social platform inspired from a birthday event I held for my friend. Users compete in skill-based challenges (fitness, content creation, learning) and can stake real money on outcomes. Built a production-ready 47+-table PostgreSQL database with Row Level Security, real-time messaging, Stripe payment processing, ELO ranking system, livestreaming infrastructure, and an escrow-based wallet system. Designed a 'friend-first' economic model with 0% fees for private challenges and graduated fees (5-15%) for public competitions avoiding traditional gambling mechanics while maintaining stakes-driven engagement.
